Our technology stack:
- PHP 7/8; Symfony, Composer, Git
- We use JavaScript (ES2015+, Node.js, Vue.js, Yarn, npm, etc.) for our frontend und Single Page Applications.
- At Sedo, we integrate a variety of third-party products and use the providers' APIs to do so (e.g. Adyen, Oracle Cloud).
- A high code quality is extremely important to us. We therefore take our test code just as seriously as our production code.
- With our central Continuous Delivery System, we can roll out new software in different environments several times a day. For this we use among others, Git, Helm and Jenkins. Simply through merging and tagging.
- We mainly operate our applications as Docker containers in a private cloud managed Kubernetes cluster.
- We use central logging (ELK), Prometheus, Grafana and Icinga for analysis, metrics and monitoring of our productive operations.
Your tasks:
- Continuous Modernization of our software, processes and tools as well as development of new features to solve complex customer requirements by using state-of-the-art technologies.
- Continuous Deployment and operation of our own services
- Willingness to engage in professional development, such as in Java
- Active participation in agile work processes
Your profile:
- Fun with new technologies and interested in working and growing with our existing tech stack.
- Several years of in-depth experience in PHP backend development.
- Experience with frameworks such as Symfony.
- A plus: DevOps skills and know-how about microservice architectures and Docker / Kubernetes.
- Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, pragmatic, curious and willing to learn
- Fluency in German and English.
- Successfully completed degree in (business) computer science, successfully completed training or comparable qualifications.
